I think they use a different calculator. Natural gas prices may have doubled but my electric bill almost quadrupled.

Yea ours five folded at the start of last month so been mostly buying LED lights and only using them when we must, lowering the indoor temperature and heating more with wood than normally saving on electricity wherever we can, hell we even unplugged the cellar chest freezer and moved what we decided to save to the fridge freezer upstairs.

Recent purchases are a liter of two stroke oil, ten liters of 98E5 fuel, an NGK BPM7A spark plug for my Toro S200 snowblower oh and a tow truck ride for my Mercedes to the local garage to thaw overnight as it refused to start this morning... -15c/5f outside as I write this

DAMMIT! DAMMIT! DAMMIT!
Just when I was thinning the herd....I ran across this. 1968 Suzuki b105P 120 Bearcat. It's basically complete with a seized motor. Couldn't pass it up! $100.00! no paperwork. I'll deal with that once I get it gone through. It's truly a sickness......

My brother had one just like it. Unlike his POS Tiger Cub that was nothing but trouble, this one got him into trouble. And plenty of it.

As to thinning the herd, nature abhors a vacuum.

You’ll need to start a thread. That would be a fun-as-hell scrambler. Couple of days of backroads adventures, easy. Can you cram in… a “250” in there?

Good idea! I will down in the "other" forum once I get rolling on it.

My first motorcycle was a Suzuki 120 in the 1960s, similar to that but not high-pipe. No way to pass that up at a Benjamin.

Almost $300 in parts for the Suburban. Time for the 200,000 mile service. Luckily, the transmission has just been overhauled, so this one is really just going to be plugs, wires, engine air filter, cabin air filter, and an engine oil and filter change. I'll also rotate and balance the tires, since I've got a snazzy set of tire machines in my shop. The shocks and struts should probably be done too, but I'll worry about them a little bit further down the line. I think it might also be getting close to time for the universal joints, I heard a squeak from them the other day when I was driving alongside a wall with the window down and heard the sound bounced back to me. I'll dig into it a bit later. Even though three bills is a tough nut to chew this close to Christmas, it's still way cheaper than what a shop would charge.

That's what I have. The FM reception can be spotty in fringe areas but I can still pull in some Chicago stations out here in the sticks. Through the phone is great and Mrs.C and I can have a convo when she's in the sidecar.
