I get it. I'm not a coffee snob. Coffee is nothing more than a caffeine delivery system, not a social event that needs to be discussed, at length. Same reason I drink Miller Lite. To me, it's the best of the Big Three, affordable, and is available at every store.

I bought a jack today, too. A 2 ton bottle jack from Restore in Elgin, IL for $12. I also picked up five cards of five Ronson lighter flints for a buck a card. I always lose the package after I refill the striker. I figure I can at least refill the striker five times before I lose them all. They also had some K&S metal tubes and sheet for a buck a card, so I stocked up on those, too.

Careful! I just put a new rear tire on my DRZ and got a little squirrelY in one on the first tight twisties, taking it easy. That 50 mile scrub-in is "no kidding".

Good advice. I will take it easy on the turns and roundabouts.

Bought one of these. The little tail bag I have on the DRZ is nice, but it's good for 2 beers and a baseball cap. Had one of these on my V-Strom I sold and loved it. It will hold two beers, a flannel shirt AND a baseball cap!

Went looking at Restore for a small shelving unit for Mrs. C. Didn't find one she liked but I found a top o' the line Craftsman solder gun with a whack of replacement tips for $12. As it was Senior Day Wednesday, I got another 10% off.

I've been noticing something at the different Restore shops I visit. There are now a lot of bench mounted jig saws coming available. When I was setting up my wood shop, I looked for weeks before I scored a beat up Ryobi. Took a year before I found a second one, a Dremel, for the barn. Yesterday, there were five at the Restore we were at. Two of those were top line machines. The prices have climbed, too. I don't have $50 in my two but you couldn't get out of the for less than $65 for one. There was a Dremel, same as the one I got for $25, going for $85.

I'm guessing building birdhouses with kids is going out of style.

Naturally, I am automatically tempted to mock you for needing heated gloves in LA. But I shall refrain, for now. How cold does it get there?

Also, I know from being in the military that everything not mandatory is forbidden. In pic 5 on the Amazon page, it does not show motorcycle use. Therefore it is forbidden. You had better return them.

And what the hell is SkyGenius? Where do they come up with these names?!?!?!

Edit: Just checked the weather there. It is 63 at 7:28 am. I now formally am mocking you. Here it is 49.

63 is cold in LA. You should see how slow they move when it drops below freezing.
