Hi Shea
First get some PJ1 foam filter cleaner, foam filter oil & MR. Clean. Next remove the frame panel and air box cover to remove the foam filter that is inside the air box. Liberally spray the foam with the cleaner, squish it into the filter for a few minutes, then let it sit a couple of minutes. Wash the foam under Hot water. After all of the dirt is out of the filter pour on a little Mr. Clean squish it again and wash it out with hot water. Dry the foam with a hair dryer. Spray the foam till it has a good coat of oil on it inside & out. I do this in a large plastic bag, then squish the oil into the filter and squeeze out any extra if there is any, re-install foam & all parts removed. Bruce
