Thanks for all the good info. Never used one on a 4-stroke but have on the 2-smoker dirt bikes. They always ripped like hell. The round slides have always seemed to give me everything I needed on a 4-stroke but would be fun to learn some more. Might have to try one of these out to see what changes I can get to the low end performance. Wish I had a dyno, sigh!

I've been thinking the same thing about flat slides.
A dyno would be nice, but virtually the same thing can be found in smart phones these days. As well, an increase in top speed is an increase in HP, whereas a decrease in trap speed in the 1/4 mile is an increase in torque. We can still quantify our improvements to a point.
