I'm sorry to hear you can't get the tires, Phil. :( You made a valiant effort. I don't understand why Zongshen America can't import these tires at a reasonable price. :?:

are you sure you don't think you can make this happen? we gave you a price that we would like but you know how that goes, the price is up to you. I hate to say it like this but if a Zong owner wants to keep the 15" wheel it seems like your the only game in town. i might be wrong about that but i can't find the 130/90/15 anywhere on the net. thanks for trying

brother, i would like to say i can try but after finding the channels each with a charge it gets into stupid money, the "guess" i got charged about 1300$ after it got to the US port then you add the risk that i wont sell them all then add the cost of tires and shipping for 9 cubic meters i just cant gamble but i may have to come up with something else i just havent figured what. i like the 15s they handle well and look good. if i get a chance im going to post some of the e mails. it would drive a normal person to kill. lucky im not affected at all. well i have to go i hear a party going on and i already have my hockey mask on. btw any body see the sell at harbor freight has on machetes

Thanks for making the extra effort to import the 15-inch, dual sport tires, Phil. I'm sorry things did not work out; many Zong owners would have enjoyed the option of running the smaller rear wheel offroad. :(
You can always mount a Cheng Shin Marquis on the rear wheel, Alan. http://chinariders.net/modules.php?n...ewtopic&t=7913 Of course, you got such a great deal on your Zong, you can also easily afford a custom rear wheel. Spud

im prety sure it would go on it would probably be a really flat topped after inflation for a knobby only a half inch over on each side of the rim. the price is right to try though!

http://www.kendausa.com/motorcycle/youth_mx.html Also, the rear tire should always be significantly wider than the front tire, otherwise the handling is unstable. This rear tire is only 90mm wide. If a Zong owner wants to experiment with this tire, I hope he posts his findings. However, I personally would not mount this tire on the Zong's 2.75X15 rear rim. Spud

what is the front rim size on the zongs?
my lifan originaly came with a 100mm wide tire so it cant be too bad, it would fit fine on my 2.15 rim. I think this could work.

I just measured my spare, Zongshen, 2.75X15 rear rim; it is 91mm wide.
