going to finish up the frame tonight then im going on vacation for a week and a half, Ill probably give more details when I get back, maybe even some closeups

I have been watching this as well ,when it acured to me that i need to know where the weak points are on lifanoid frames . anyone know or have links to failures?

Ive never heard of a failure, but none of us have tried what WA is attempting. This could be like Janet Jackson's wardrobe failure in the Superbowl a few years ago. Too much power for the equipment.

I remember one person getting a new frame on a Lifan under warranty for a frame failure. Not for sure exactly where the crack occured.

The street bikes seem to be more prone.
My swingarm mounts on the frame wore after 10K miles. I don't know if the GY5 had been improved in that area. I would build a frame cradle to tie it all together. Otherwise I don't really see anything else, but to check all the welds good. Allen
