I found the thread I was looking for by TeamCheap. If you watch the video, that's the sound I'd like to get on my bike. I probably need to get a new muffler. Here's the link:

when you close the throttle the carb is on the idle circuit. you can turn the idle jet out 1/8 to 1/4 turns to add some extra fuel. this can reduce the decell pop but never eliminate it. if you study the keihin fcr mx carb you will find it has a bleed circuit to provide a rich mixture that eliminates the decell pop. that however is a very expensive solution.

You definately have a lean condition yet.

If you like the sound of TC bike then you may like the honda exhaust I have. Similar sound in a cheaper option. I got a used honda crf150r muffler. You will need to rejet the carb. Read all of TC thread on his exhaust and he will explain the jetting needed.

Also take into account the elevation you live/ride at.

Strange... I seem to have the only Chinabike that NEVER pops on decel.

The only time it ever pops is when giving some throttle after idleing for a long period. Tends to give one loud POP and kill the engine.

Setting idle up to 1.5k seems to help.

Weird. :?

Have you done the Chinabike carb cleanout routine, yet? They don't clean out the fuel system very well at the factory and all sorts of crud ends up in the carb frequently.

I think this is addressed in the prep section somewhere.

Good point on the carb clean. I didn't have any problem with the stock exhaust.

Stock exhaust sounded like a can of gravel was loose inside.

I just put on a White Brothers Mini R4 pipe for a CRF150.
I bought it used from Craig's List.
Nice deep thump at idle and not to loud at highway speed.
The headpipe fit right into the exhaust port.
It was about an inch short and the muffler can was about 1/2 inch high for the stock mount.
Little bit of persuading, an aluminum strip spacer for the muffler bolt and a conduit stand-off at the pipe bracket made it fit right in.

CHINAGUY, That exhaust is an exhaust I got from ALL-STAR-SALEZ in canada and it goes to the 250cc china dirtbike and was very VERY easy to install on my wifes bike and I like it better than the aftermarket xr200 exhaust I put on my bike.It sounds good (better in person than vid) looks good and installs much easier and cleaner than the xr200 one did.
