Winter is hitting hard here today. We got around 4" of the white crap while I was in Mexico. The amount is 'meh'. The temps are frigid, though. High of 10 today and tomorrow. Nighttime temps well below zero. Not T-shirt weather. Maybe an unzipped jacket, definitely not T-shirt. Even B-dog just does his business and runs back inside.

After getting back from Mexico at quarter to two Saturday morning, I wasn't expecting to do squat on Saturday. I did do squat, but I did even less yesterday.

Definitely time to get off my backside and do something. A1C is up as is resting heart rate. Surprisingly, my weight is not. I may have to twist my arm and break out a bicycle as the daily mile with Buster and the once a week roller skating does not seem to be doing much.

I expect a butt chewing by my doc on Tuesday.

God put it there. He'll take it away, right?
Fires hot, beer's cold, food's good. I can tell you this....being snowed in with Mrs. 2LZ, 30 years ago, was a lot more fun, as memory serves. At least we got the extra bedroom and closet cleaned out and re-organized. Have the donate, garbage, and recycle piles, ready go go. I'm still useful!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's pissing down with thunder boomers this morning. I shouldn't be seeing this for at least three more weeks.

That said, yesterday was really nice and kind of busy. Mrs.C and I took in the youngest grandsons' hockey game, then went out for breakfast. I took Buster out for his morning sniff fest and got the sidecar fender painted. We futzed a bit around the house, then took Buster for a second muddy walk at a forest preserve. We stopped at Culver's on the way home and got some frozen custard. Buster got his own pup cup.

I swapped out my Casio Atomic for my smart watch on Saturday just to see what a lump I've become. Jeezus! I'm fast becoming Jabba the Putz. I have a doctors' appointment tomorrow and expect an earful.

I did win another 90 pcs of HO slot car track off the Bay of Fleas Saturday, so there is that.

After some deep thought, without booze, I will finish the Diesel Project once spring is finally here but I think I will piece out the Bronda, save for the 18 hp Briggs engine. There's this go-kart sitting in my local kids backyard...

I can relate when it comes to lack of motivation. I leave work with the intension of getting stuff done when I get home, but all those good intensions are gone by the time I pull into my driveway.

I work from home and it happens here, too.

i hope the relatives are not IN the boxes.... just sayin'

60+ in Illannoy today. Honda started on the first push of the button. Even got the DeSoto going though that took a bit more cranking.

I was outside in t-shirt for a bit while I was sweeping out the MC side of the garage as the toys were outside.

Not going to last, though, rain and snow on Friday.

80+ here. Been like this for over a week but that will come to a halt by Friday when that cold from comes through. Then we'll be back in the 70's.
