Unless you plan on porting the head and increasing the compression ratio, the PE30 will be hard to tune. A PE28 would be a better match for an unmodified engine.

does this apply also to the OHC motor? i read on TT that they fit a 32 carb on stock motors (169FMM) and are happy with this larger carb..

Yes. I installed a PE30 on my X22R which has the same engine. I got it tuned but was a PITA. Once i did all the engine mods it was easy to tune. The same for my Hawk. Others on here have used the PE28 and was more easy to tune on the stock engine.

are you in america? I actually bought that same carb on amazon for about $2 more. And Nibbi carbs are just high quality chinese knock-offs of Mikunis. That's real.

i'm in italy, so it's easier to get parts directly from china, shopping in the US is became expensive since the custom fees war a few years ago..on what bike\engine you will fit the PE30? i heard that there are NIBBI engraved carbs that are the copy of the copy.. and are low quality (and price)

I should have looked harder. lol. I have a PE26 on my 125cc Apollo Z20 Max. Took me a while to get the tune setup, as I had to play with the idle screw, and mixture screw a few times. It should support your engine also, as long as you don't go extreme on modifications. You may need bigger jets, but these do come with one extra set of bigger jets.

I've never seen copies of Nibbi carbs, but I have seen "Maikuni" carbs that are copies of nibbi carbs, that are copies of Mikuni carbs.
