exhaust install questions...

so i did the new exhaust install today and figured i would post a pic or two and the stuff i ran into.....

--the header pipe definitely needed to be drilled out to make it fit
--i had to give some "persuasion" to the pipe here and there and also to the clutch arm
--had to build a bracket to get the muffler away from the tire so it would have sufficient clearance
--i only used the kit, homemade bracket (used the metal from the shipping cage) and some assorted washers and spacers but will be putting a clamp on the connection point and wrapping the pipe
--pulled the plug after a 2 mile ride and is running well, nice tan color
--looks really nice, a clean look, like it was made for it
--it is louder but not a crazy amount sounds more like a dirt bike now
--it has the mikuni clone with a 110 main, 2 turns out and needle jet on the middle position
--though not in the pics the muffler spring is on.

of course the real question is ....how much difference didi it make?? ... to say it livened it up would be an understatement.... both my buddy Mike and i rode it before and after and agreed...the throttle is way more responsive and it's running and breathing much more open... as mike said "air in air out"

Any real performance indicators like top speed run before and after etc. ?

no i didn't hook it up to dyno or do a 1/4mile run...but there are tangible benefits.... faster acceleration, more power, more usable rpms for every gear. i am sure it's got more top speed.....i am still in the break in period so i am not pushing it.....
