oh come on... i daily commuted from april to october a few yrs ago from clifton springs to savannah NY and back, about an 80 mi round trip the way i took... dress for the weather...LOL

That is impressive I must say! I LOVE riding but its very hard for me to go out riding in the cold. Ive done it once or twice when it was cold out and had regrets within 5 minutes hahaha Shout out to you bogieboy

SJ AND SL can both be used, either or, and it will not harm the engine or the performance. They have very close engine usage dates. Here is a link for you or anyone to have a better vision of it. Here in Mexico it gets very hot so I always add Lucas oil additive just for a little extra film strength.

the trick is when its cold, layers, and cover the layers with a rain suit, i have a $30 coleman suit that fits over my layers, being of the PVC variety, it blocks ALL wind. then add a set of THinsulate waterproof gloves (mine were John deere leather palm cold weather gloves,) and a good full face helmet with a cold weather breath box to keep from fogging. heres my review of the helmet i got: http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=16551

best part of it is the drop down sun shade... no need to have a pair of sunglasses, pull over, put em on, it gets cloudy, cant see, pull over take em back off...ETC....LOL
