Sorry for the incorrect diagnosis.

Will it start with the remote start? The remote start can cause issues. Also check clutch safety switch and kick stand safety switch.

Don’t think there’s any real difference between them.
I suspect the red wire to ignition switch is broken where it Ts off to the regulator
He’s not diag or tested much so can only guess.
