The company knew I liked the camo because I had tried to order it before. There aren't really a lot of people buying these bikes in China and it is easy to remember that the one white guy who has been waiting for his bike for 7 weeks might be a little angry.

The bike was built with the twin shocks in an attempt to make it more durable for use as a military bike. The bike also has a second CDI system that is there just incase the primary fails. This bike was built for the army and is designed to make it to its intended destination. Hense the 5.6 gallon fuel tank and the big racks.

As for the suspension being and older design it really doesn't make any difference on a bike that isn't going to be jumped a lot or beat to shit. I bought the bike to ride around China not as a pit bike or hobby. The fact it has less plastic on it is a good thing as there is less crap to break.

I'll post some more detailed pics of the switch gear, tank, frame, engine, brakes, etc... later today

Cool looking bike Mike, awesome that they got you the camo colored one you originally wanted, hopefully you have some good time off coming up to go exploring with that thing

(since they made you miss the other time off by delaying the bike)

Well it's been 4 days since I've had the bike. I've put nearly 500km on it so far and have had no trouble at all. I went to the beach yesterday and up into the mountains today. Enjoy the pics

As far as apologizing for the mud, that is not mud, it's character! 8)

No roblems as of yet. The bike so far has been great. Yesterday the road I was on was probably the worst road I have ever ridden and the bike handled it with no problem.

In a few of the pics you can see the smoke from the slash and burn agriculture that is going on there. People burnthe vegetation to make the soil more fertile for the next group of crops to be planted. It was really crazy riding up a mountain that was on fire.
