Including un-crating, the first one took me 4 hours to assemble. Not bad for a rookie. Obviously I have not been able to start it or ride it yet
One other odd thing I noticed is that on the left footwell side, there is what looks to me like a shifter. On the right side is a knob gear shifter that has F-N-R on it. What's the shifter on the left for? Aren't these 3150's automatic?
That's the kick start

I had a lot of extra nuts and bolts. The hand guards are good for going through brush

No way! It only moves a few inches either direction.
Edit: I looked up pictures of this model and in the pictures it does in fact look like a Kickstart. But the thing on my bike looks different than the pictures I'm finding. I'll try to upload a picture of it tomorrow.

The tires came in 2 separate boxes. One box labeled left and the other labeled right. From what I've seen of others, it looks like the tires usually come packaged within the crate with the atv.

Yeah, that's what I expect a kickstart to look like. That's not what mine looks like. If I can sneak away from the kids, I'll snap a picture of it.

I was able to sneak away from the kids briefly. What I saw is the kickstart after all. It just came pre-installed way down low and needs to removed and rotated to a higher position.

In other news, it appears that I was sent one 3150-DX2 and one 3150-DX3! The other atv I have to put together tonight (in the dark, yay!) has disc brakes all around!

Still no pics since I almost got busted!

I had to do the same. It was mounted to low. I have used it a few times and it will start it. The remote start/ alarm system drained the battery.

The unit I put together doesn't appear to have any kind of fob or keys, so I'm hoping the other one has 2 keys

I was surprised to find the battery to be an AGM and not the normal wet cell type. My cousin owns a battery shop. I should be able to get a replacement should the one supplied not be up to task long-term.

FYI Take your rear wheels and flip them were the valve is on the inside and swap sides if the tires are directional. You will gain a few inches width on the rear wheel. My rims were off centered.
