I don't have anything fancy, and not something I'd want to walk around in all day I just use them during the ride. its 3 layers the outer most has the impact ce armor and heavy duty mesh for protection and air flow in summer, then the waterproof layer that also blocks wind, then the inner most quilted layer for warmth. all layers zip out and they all have full length zippers up the sides.

Lap Robe Available
I was contacted by Jay In Milpitas. He wanted to know if I made a lap robe that would work on your bikes.
I make one that is custom made to fit a Ural but after looking at the picture in this thread, I think mine will work on your bikes too. Mine are made to fit around the carbs on the Ural but I think that by leaving that off and adding a couple of Velcro straps that would wrap around your calves, I think it would fit fine. Mine are made from a double thickness of 1000 denier Cordura with a layer of Dacron for insulation sandwiched in between. Here's a link to my Photobucket account showing a lot of pictures of lap robes I've made. There are 5 pages of pictures. Please take a look at these pictures and let me know what you think. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/HDFl...?sort=3&page=1 Here's a link to my product page with pricing. http://www.riddlescustomupholstery.com/Products.html This is a picture of one of my lap robes on a customer's bike. It's made to come up high around your chest for maximum protection. I also make flaps that you can sit on to hold it tight around you as well as a Velcro lap belt. This picture shows it laying across the seat which will protect it from inclement weather if you park and leave your bike. All of my products are custom made to order so depending on current orders you can have a wait time of anywhere from 4-10 weeks. This can be a long wait for some, but it ensures that you get a high quality custom product made the way you want. Let me know if you have any questions. You can email me at hdflame@windstream.net Thanks, Bobby |

Thanks.
Here's a picture of my daughter wearing one while sitting on my Ural. I live in Sanford, NC which is dead middle of the state. I have one lap robe in stock in Urban camo. If someone wants to arrange to meet me one day, you're welcome to see how you think it would fit. Maybe with some slight modifications. Thanks, Bobby |

Hopefully some RX3 rider is close enough to make the test fitting. Eagerly awaiting the results. |

Here's a link to the Tucano overpants-like product I mentioned earlier. Couldn't find it because I misspelled:
http://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/pr...anta_tur193lxl Looks like a better solution than plain ol' rain pants...insulation, pockets for knee armor, minimal wind flapping at the speeds I ride. Price looks reasonable. |
