Outstanding ride and photos, KeithMaine! That has got to be the truest break-in of the RX3 I've seen yet! Glad that the RX3 got you through the rough stuff and got you home!

Thanks for posting the great link, Lee. I might finally take the plunge, and get a camera.

The SJCams are considered some of the best knockoffs even getting some ratings better than the GoPro. And of course using all the GoPro accessories.

+1

I have the SJ Cams 4000 and the M10. I like the M10 better as it's easier to use. Regardless of which you get, the quality of video is good and I purchased 3 of the SJ Cam cameras for less than 1 GoPro. Only downside is that there is no audio input on the cameras like the GoPro. But on the SJ Cam 4000, you can modify it to add an input.

Thanks for the pics and ride report, Keith. You're more of a gentleman than I; while the Ural riders were fording the small lakes in the road, I would have been waving as I rode around through the trees.

These guys would do the same for me, truly the Ural guys are some of the best I have ever met. They are true friends for life and had I not purchased a Ural I most likely never would have met them.

I think the Zong owners are also great gentlemen.

From what I have read on this forum I am of the same opinion as you. The guys and gals here are very much like the Ural people. I think the mind set to own a bike out of the norm, with having a more self sufficient independence actually creates a tighter bond. And I apologize if it sounded like I was placing the Uralist above the China riders. Merely that the bike brought me to them.

I agree on all points. Also, I didn't think you were placing the Ural owners above the Zongites.

To be clear, I still would have helped my buddies out of the water, but I would have certainly ridden around it.

I'm quite fascinated by Urals, most notably this past summer, when there was a Ural gathering at the campsite we were enjoying. I'm flirting with the idea of ownership.

Oh, that is treacherous ice to tread, Weld. They are hardy machines with quirks that are endearing. Now with fuel injection, electric starting, and disc brakes they are less primitive. But the feel of the machine on the move, and the expressions/interest of on-lookers is unique. The bond between owners is tight.

Uralists are more fanatical that we RX3 owners. I refer you back to KeithMaine's videos.
