That means you are exactly like me ,I have always enjoyed something I dragged home as a p.o.s. and fixed up to usable condition ,more than a shiny one ,I think it's because I enjoy the challenge of making something out of nothing .As I am 6'5" and so is my boy ,I often donate pedal bikes and dirt bikes and even a few cars that are either too small for us to ride ,or just unneeded after I get them going to a needy person or family .

wow! That brought back memories! I had a Raleigh just like that in college and as recreation. We had bike paths that wound through our community in Maryland all the way through downtown Washington, DC. It was so awesome. I has one of those leather seats, and it tore me up.......

Since we are talking bicycles and mopeds, has anyone here gotten one of these bolt on engine kits?
I really want to try one. And, at only $150, it's very hard resist.

Cheesy, I haven't seen one of those in 30 years! I hope you start a new thread on them.

You can get the bike engine kit for less off Ebay and Amazon. One thing I don't get with the one you listed is why is the engine disassembled? I have been checking these out as well as just a fun project but all the ones I have seen the engine is completely assembled from the manufacturer. By the way this is the most popular bicycle used for these kits. Many people by the bike and kit and assemble them and sell them to make money on CraigsList and the like.
Here is the bike. http://www.walmart.com/ip/29-Genesis...Black/16203481 / |

Its always good to check Amazon for the reviews even if you don't buy the kit from them. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...cle+engine+kit / |
