It's almost an exact copy of the Tank Vision R1. Which is like a 100 other Chinese bikes...same engine, too!

There are way too many good, used Japanese bikes out there, I don't think I'd bother with a Chinese street bike. The first one in this thread was quoted at $1700... I bought this
for $2200. (not a pic of mine, but just like it except mine has a Corbin seat and a Yoshimura exaust.) It's a very quick bike (0-65 in 3.4 seconds) and handles a like sportbike, but the seating position is upright and it has enough ground clearance and suspension travel to do some offroading. (It's an adventure bike, like a V-Strom, but better.) It makes a good long distance tour bike as well! Shop around, there are plenty of good bikes out there. You can almost always find a Ninja 250 for less than $2000 on a 3 or 4 year old bike, and they are actually pretty comfy bikes, more standard than sport. |

Yes...now that is worth $2-3 k...
This is why china should stick to smaller displacement for a while. Try finding a cheap dirtbike or quad...it is much easier to find a good used street bike for less money...Resale on off road seems better /longer...(unless it says HD) A $6000 mx is still worth $4000 after a couple years...seems to me a smallish $6k streetbike is less than half after the same amount of time... When I can buy 2 used jap mx for the price of one new one...I will quit buying china likely...but I doubt that day will come.

I have to agree. I'm sure my next purchase is gonna be a used Japanese bike or a new Korean (Hyosung). Hey, I may even go for a KTM 990 SuperDuke (my fantasy bike)!
Good looking bike there, knothead. |

And I agree with much of what's been said. I really like the looks of the Johnny Pag Raptor (yes, and the Spyder too)...in fact, I just got home from looking them over at the dealer once again. But, I'm also going to look at a Suzuki Savage 650 this weekend (I hope) that is selling at about half the cost of the new Pag. I also noticed the KBB retail on a 07 GY5 is only $100 less than I paid for the 08 new. I may sell my GY5 and try to take advantage of this before it changes.
