I had this happen to me twice coming into work Monday with a bunch of wireline trucks. First three trucks run a red light and pulled out right in front of me. The second time another group of wireline trucks exiting off the interstate never stopped for the stop sign. Again, right in front of me and i was in my truck with headlights on before daylight. I'm sure they saw me both times but i guess they think they don't have to follow the rules. No problem, i called the how's my driving number in the back and reported the two truck numbers i could read.

Wow Jerry, so sorry to hear about this. I do the same thing as you at intersections nowadays, I flash my light if there is a car there just to make sure they see me. Just a fact of life we have to deal with on bikes, the general population isn’t looking for a motorcycle when they pull out. These sad reminders just re-enforce our need to be extra alert always on our bikes, whether it’s watching for other vehicles or even wildlife. Be careful guys
