Okay so The MCO came in the mail along with a notarized bill of sale. I digitally filled out the form T-22B online printed it off and had the police come and check the vin. Had no issues and the deputy signed the paper work. Tomorrow I am headed to a notary to get the form T-228 signed then to the county tag office to get the tag and title. Hopefully no issues, will update tomorrow good or bad after the tag office.

That's great news! Any trouble at the DMV? Where in Georgia are you?

Know exactly where that is. Too bad I moved out to Phoenix. You could have hopped on 27 South and that would have taken you right into Carrollton. There's some decent riding up that way, just in the foothills. Best of luck to you, glad you didn't have any issues with the tag or title.

Georgia Reg

Howdy folks, sorry to revive an old thread. Looking to get a hawk 250, live in Cobb county Georgia, have heard some bad things about getting the required paperwork for these bikes down here. Figured might just shell out the extra cash for the CSC TT250, but wanted some input from you guys. What companies selling the Hawk do the best job of getting you the paperwork?

Katz, I can tell you from first-hand experience that the DMV out in GA doesn't want to have anything to do with these bikes. Unless you want to jump through a bunch of hoops, I would say if it's an option, shell the extra cash for the TT250 or the RX-3. It took me almost three weeks to get mine registered out there, and they were less than cooperative. Didn't have any problems at all getting everything for the bike sorted out here in Phoenix. I can walk you through the process if you want to go with a Hawk, but I wanted to get the difficulties laid out in front of you. Keep us posted!
