Every tank is currently unavailable, and I don't see the style the 2014 Hawk 250 has! But thanks for the link, I'll keep it for future reference.

I recommend using tank liner as a last resort. It's a bear to remove if you have to.

Rather than JB, I've used Permatex Cold Weld on gas tanks with excellent results. JB doesn't actually claim to be good for exposure to gasoline.

I did what I could and soldered the leak, tested with water and repainted the repair area. All is good so far. Another hot day and the tank will be dry for either the sealer application or putting the bike back together.

Leaks Continue

Soldering the tank didn't hold with the vibrations of the bike. Next step it to try and weld the crack as a permanent fix!!

Does anyone know a a way to mount a plastic tank to a hawk 250? and/or where one would buy a plastic tank that would fit a hawk 250?
