Hi All & Simon
The American Lifan G20-5 or LF200GY-5 has a {428 x 130 link, 17&46 Sprockets} chain on them. There is a 428H chain, that is a heavy duty chain. As anything goes in this world today you get what you pay for in Quality, it also depends what brand of chain you purchase. JC Whitney carries the cheapest products that they can buy to make money on their parts. I carry only D.I.D. Chains. Yes a little more expensive but a lot better quality. With any chain, if You don't take care of it {Lube/Oil & Correctly Adjust} the chain it will wear out prematurely and eat sprockets. I have just ordered some replacement front and rear sprockets to change these bikes over to 520 chain size. The sprockets should be in{hopefully} next week sometime as they where all special order. Chain I always have in stock in bulk, so it can be cut to length. Bruce

I was out in the (unheated) garage last night. Only lasted about 30 minutes. Way to friggin cold. My thermometer read about 5 F outside and 9 F inside. BRRRRRR..... Think spring, think spring, think spring, taps heels three times. On topic... Bruce - could you tell me what the 520 conversion setup will run so I can start saving my pennies. Thanks...
