Hi
My GY-5 has the same engine or at least 200cc version (and I think frame by the look of it) - I used an XLR125 header - fits straight on and gets rid of the catalytic converter which is a good thing... Frog |

No go on the ATC pipe , once again judging scale in a photo . flange may be fine ,but the pipe is larger scale and double walled . when i get a chance i'll put a comparison photo up . the black pipe is a crf230 pipe i have had for a while . the mounting flange was also to small so i never tried to fit it ,but it is much closer pipe size to the oe 200cc pipe .

The CRF230 front pipe is a pretty good fit . Slotted the mounting flange holes a little . the front of the pipe is a little tight fit in the head ,so sanding was required there . Fitted up the assembly. and will be welding the muffler and pipe . I think it would also be a good upgrade for a 200cc engine ,but you would need to modify the rear section to fit it.

Heres a look at a flow difference between the headers . the OE 200 pipe a nickle can sit on it without a chance of it falling in . The crf header can fit a quarter with room to spare .

Wow! 8O The CRF header will certainly uncork the exhaust, Ron!

To confirm, can you push anything through the old pipe, or does the cat block the path?

Power bomb sounds better than fake cat. The good news is that you might not need to rejet.

The new tailpiece looks great! I like the way the fuel tank graphics compliment the colors of the new tailpiece. The exhaust header and the rest of the bike look great, also. What did you use to paint the exhaust header?
