I ordered my Lifan front spoke sets after business hours on October 7. I just rechecked my UPS tracking number; my package is scheduled to arrive on October 14. This means my Lifan spokes will reach my front door in five business days after I placed my order. I am very pleased with this prompt, excellent service for a package shipped from Texas to Idaho.

Shopping with Metric Parts HQ was a very pleasant experience for me. They promptly answered my emails, and they honored an ambiguous price quote from their website. They even contacted me by telephone to ensure they properly understood my parts order. Based upon my experience shopping with them, I highly recommend this vendor.

That's a super deal on the spokes, and good customer service. I'll give them my business when I need parts.

I got a reply to my email; you were correct, Q. ;) Apparently the price quoted on the website was for one spoke, and one spoke nipple. I guess the old adage is true: “If something seems too good to be true, it's probably too good to be true.” ;)

However, since the parts diagram and description on their website was easily misinterpreted, the folks at Metric Parts HQ are going to honor the price quoted for an entire spoke set! :D They offered me the option to either cancel my order, or pay an addition $4.80 to cover the added shipping costs. I readily agreed to the latter option. :) Therefore, I am going to receive two complete Lifan front spoke sets for $15.52. :D I am very pleased with the good business practices, and the honorable response from Metric Parts HQ.

Metric Parts HQ called me on the telephone earlier this evening; they said they were going to ship my spokes today. This company gives every indication of being a fair, and legitimate vendor. I will post again when I receive either the spokes, or a shipping confirmation number. :D

Spud :)

Okay, this is pretty funny... the website is registered to none other than........ American Lifan. No wonder Shawn recommends them.

They sold me two complete Lifan front wheel spoke sets, and I don't even own a Lifan motorcycle. Therefore, they must have lifted the restriction on selling parts to owners of "grey market Lifans."

I don't have a dog in this fight; I own a Zongshen Sierra 200GY-2 motorcycle. However, I am glad to see that owners of the so-called "grey market Lifans" can now get parts for their motorcycles.

Dsrt: for some reason I have not received an email from you... If you would please try support@metricpartshq.com I would be more than happy to help you with your parts needs.

Jpeterson: We do share a server with Lifan... Better than paying for your own when you don't need it I guess..

Spud: We appreciate your business...

If anyone needs any parts please feel free to send me a private message.
