Hawk 250-Carb Swap-Need Diagnosis

Took it out for another 10 mile ride. Everything went fine. No hesitation whatsoever.

Curious though....how far and how long can you run these without overheating/hurting the engine? The bike is stock except for the carb and sprockets.

If you have the carb tuned you can ride till you run out of gas. lol

Seriously, don't worry about over heating and riding long distance. These are tough little engines. I've put over 160 miles in one trip and 50-60 miles pretty much every time I go out and take a ride. The key to any bike lasting is preventive maintenance. Do a pre-ride inspection before every ride. Check oil, lights, chain tension, tire pressure and spokes.
