Great pics E! I think my Vader's natural habitat is lane splitting at traffic lights. Man that's a great challenge!

Lane splitting, maybe - but idk, the natural habitat of these little anklebiters is really 'if I fits, I sits'.
So maybe somewhere that a normal bike might be a little big? Or just...not a normal place for a motorcycle? Somewhere like a playground? Help me out, I'd love to get out today. |

Pete, the short answer is yes, that's what we see in most of North America. Denver, CO is a notable exception. The elevation there is roughly 5,300'. There are also some other cities in Colorado that have higher elevation. Because the air there is so much thinner, the gas stations usually have 83, 85, and 87 octane, respectively. In the states, we use the (R+M)/2 method to calculate octane, but I know that's not a universal format. Some countries use the RON/MON method. What octane ratings do you see over there, and what is the calculation method?

RON testing produces higher octane numbers for the same grade of fuel. I would say that the fuel across the pond is pretty much the same refinement level as what we get over here. Only one way to find out: One of us needs to put our bike on a plane and go visit the other!

Where is everyone? We're coming up on a week, which means I get to complete my own challenge and issue a new one. Somebody, anybody, please drag your bike out and get some pictures! This is the perfect time of year to be riding!

I got your back
Dual sport mode activate! Form of China Bike! And yes I got my lights working ("jerry rigged" them just for these pics) How about the next challenge be, a pic riding "2 up"... either 2 people up on the bike or you and the bike with 2 tires up in the air (I hear some are jumping their China Bikes after all )

If you are creative enough to make it look like 2 people are riding with "smoke and mirrors" magic type trickery, I don't have a problem with it (just no photo-shop cheating! )
