@bigdano711 - "The battle before us is spiritual more than physical. Get right with God or get right with Satan. Atheism is burying your head in the sand and pretending you don't have to choose." could not agree with you more... Congrats with the new wheels, man!! may she give you many safe mileage

@Megadan - very true, I myself have experienced this as well..Some of the biggest scammers out there will throw the Christian faith at you....

Some of the worst people I have ever known in my life were people of God.

Some of the best people I know are people of God too.

No, it's not faith or God that make a good person. That person chooses to be good or bad.
LOTS of counterfeit Christians out there, brother. Those are people, and people will fail you. It's what we do. FAIL. Or...SIN. It took me 44 years to find Jesus. Life had come full circle. I was in Casper, WY, busted, disgusted and homeless...AGAIN. Casper doesn't have a "homeless shelter", they have The Mission. Waiting in line to get my first meal in days, for free, I'm staring at posters of Jesus on the walls. Of course they have the neon sign in the form of a cross on the building: Jesus Saves. Evaluating my life, once again at a low point, I could no longer deny Him. That is how I came to Jesus, not in some church or in some religious ceremony or frenzy or other such nonsense. It was very real for me.

I believe the spark of God is inside every man, woman and child. It's that inner voice that tells you to do the right thing when it's easier or profitable to do the wrong thing. It's the goosebumps on your arm when you see God's beauty in the world. It's the hackles that get raised when you see an injustice, the force that makes you get on your feet and DO something instead of SAY something.

Living in Casper at CY Apartments (famous for being infamous, if you know what I mean), battling cockroaches, I heard a fight happening in the apartment below me. BOOM as bodies were being slammed around. I could hear it was a domestic dispute, man and woman. God was the force that had me put on my steel toe boots and head downstairs while EVERYONE in that building who could hear it as easily as me did NOTHING. I entered the apartment and saw a dickhead with all his body weight on top of a female. I walked up to him, shot my right arm under his chin, put him in a quick arm bar, lifted, put him on my hip and tossed him ass over tea kettle towards the door and the crowd of 3 or 4 onlookers that followed me.

God ain't no punk, yo.

Something I will never do is tell another person that their faith or beliefs are wrong, no matter what I believe. As long as they help you to be a better person, then by all means embrace your faith.

I've never had it. I can't force myself to go against what I believe no more than you can. It doesn't make us wrong, just different., and different is good.

I have no power or authority to judge anyone. I can express my beliefs freely thanks to the 1st amendment and more importantly, God. I just have one piece of advise when it comes to the question of whether or not God exists: keep an open mind, and practice mindfulness. Meditation is good, too, but not required.

I don't have to choose between God and Satan the same way you don't have to choose between the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus.

The majority of this country is Christian so if we "fall" in some way then perhaps God is the problem.

If fear of god is the only thing guiding your morals, are they really YOUR morals?

Anyways, the x-pro stickers on the plastics are cool looking!

You are absolutely correct. We have this gift/curse called Free Will combined with the ability to know love. We are the only species in this universe with such defining, God given characteristics, and that makes us royalty.

The choice is yours. It's only your soul that hangs in the balance. Choose wisely and remember, exercising Free Will and NOT choosing is, in fact, a choice.

I applaud your attempt at humor, failure that it was. lol

Thanks for the compliment on the X-Pro stickers. I've been thinking about removing them, or maybe some of them. I'd prefer a little more blue to come through.

What does it matter where I get my morals from or who they belong to? I don't know about you, but I strive to be a wise and righteous man. I've committed righteous acts and when you have that power flowing through you, the power of truth and justice and righteousness, along with the understanding of where that power comes from, well, there just ain't no feeling like it.

Let me be clear, I absolutely fear God. There is not a single man on the planet that I fear, but God? YEP!

In my first 44 years of being a non-believer, the one story about Jesus that stuck with me is the one where he turned over the tables of the money changers who were operating in the temple...His Father's house. I only recently found it in the Bible:

John 2:15
So He made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

That is Jesus kicking ass, and that is the Jesus I love. I WISH I could've been there. I imagine, with Jesus cracking the whip, those tables weren't just overturned but disintegrated in a blast of splinters.

Somebody suggested that God is the problem. Wrong. Free Will is the problem and if you think about it for half a second, you will recognize the truth.

I thought about it for a second (thank you, I never considered doing this) and I've decided that the Greek Gods are our saviors. All hail Zeus and Apollo!

Considering how big of a jerk god is in the Christian bible, I guess if I had to choose between god or satan, I'd choose satan. Having grown up in the southern USA, I've gotten to see how bad Christians can truly be in the way they treat others for being different. Even if those differences are something outside a person's control, like being gay. Which is the way god made them. So I guess god screwed up.

Free will is the problem, yet natural disasters are Acts of God. And wait a second, I thought if I prayed to the christian god, she would answer my prayers? That doesn't seem like free will.

I believe in God, and even though I don't attend Church anymore,I am still a Christian. I don't necessarily take every part of Bible to be accurate, especially the Old Testament, because it was written by Men, some who had the same flaws, and egos, as we all do, and the fact that a lot of it has probably been passed down,by word of mouth, and had been translated by other men, of different cultures. There are slight differences in the Gospels, but the "Big Picture" is the same. Jesus, himself pretty much said that some of the old teachings, and rituals didn't really hold the importance as some would have you think. I am not trying to ruffle feathers, and I never try to push religion on anyone, but I do hope that the atheist, and people who practice false religions find God. Most atheist that I have encountered are intelligent, but hold too much faith in their intelligence, and can't accept that there are things that may not make sense to them, or can't understand why God would do things the way he does. We are children of God, and just like our children don't understand all adult things, We can't, and should accept the fact that we can't understand God's methods. Like I say , I'm not trying to ruffle feathers, but I think having the arrogance, or the lack of humility to place your faith in your own rationale , or intelligence, is almost like the forbidden fruit. I have always heard that people's lives pass before their eyes when dying, but I don't know were this comes from, but sometimes think it possibly a chance for people to get another chance to accept God, and to be forgiven for their sins. I think that all humans have God in them, even if they have never been taught of God. I think that we are born with a certain compassion, and moral compass, no matter who we are.

This a 2022 or 2023?

I have a 22 and mine came the exact same way, just minor improvements to how it came years prior.

The new battery is still just as junk as the old one. I had electrical issues and battery constantly dying even after a full charge. I had to charge the stock battery every few days and even then it had issues starting the bike.

Bought a new one and have never had issues since.

So guys, since this is a motorcycle forum, lets get this tread back on Subject before the almighty JerryHawk250 or Cheesy has to shut this thread down. We try to steer clear of all subject on Religion and politics. There are other forums for that. This is not one of them. I have spoken.
