first off id like to say thanks for everyones input and advice on this.
i got the throttle cable figured out it was just a kink from me taking the carb off and on so many times. checked the air filter and it looks clean but the does seem to be a slight tear where the hose meets the box i added some electrical tape for now as a temporary fix. installed the 25 pilot and 110 main as well as another new plug and it kicks but doesnt turn over sounds like it wants to but it dies before the kick lever even comes back to resting position. tried to give it some throttle to get it going while kicking and it just makes a pop and dies. really trying to get this taken care of today as tomorrow i start back my 7 days a week work schedule. |

Why are you kick starting it? Use the starter it turns it over much better.

im kicking it because the battery is dead if i use the electric start 5 times and the bike doesnt run to recharge it no longer has sufficient power to start the bike. and having to remove the battery and wait for it to recharge is not something i want to do. the idle mixture screw is 1.5 turns out as it sits right now.

A poor battery is not helping the running problem. Consider a new battery. I've had luck with the AGM batteries from Walmart.
