I don't think I'll do the big bore kit. It seems to have enough juice now with the jet change. An exhaust and air filter about the only other changes I'm considering.

Thanks, Tortoise! The dimensions are spot on! My battery (for my TMEC that I ordered from T-Motorsports) is 6" in length and too long for the stock compartment (the stock battery is 5 7/8") and it seems that nothing from T-Motorsports will fit the scooter based on converting all the measurements from mm on their site.

Rich_e; an air filter is an easy upgrade, but just wait until the muffler falls off which will be your exhaust upgrade (ok, ok, old, old Chinabike joke from when this site first started, back in the mid-2000's)

What type of carb do you have now? Is it a Keihin CV?

Well, it's been six years and I'm now selling the Jonway. It has accumulated a total of 98 miles in that time! My wife rode it once and fell down when she stopped (floor boards really confused her, she didn't put her foot down). Not long after, my son passed away, and I lost interest in just about everything. So the bikes just sat. Fresh gas, new carb, and a bath and she's ready to sell. I also changed the mirrors to ones with built in signals because...yellow. I hate selling things, dealing with people on Facebook is a nightmare. Had one guy all onboard, was willing to pay full price ($650 lol) and pick it up this morning. Turns out he lives 50 miles away and doesn't have a truck and wants me to deliver it. Nope. I've got six years of backlogged projects, can't spend two hours for $20 in gas money.

50 miles is doable on one of these provided there are some slow roads.
