Small Update
Quote:
The software is PCHUD that we have already but importantly it came with 2 Delphi MT05 parameter files and USB drivers. One of the parameter files is in Chinese so I have been busy trying to translating it. I have seen pictures of it all working on other Chinese bikes that use the Delphi MT05 ECU but alas not on an RX3. Still, I think its all looking quite promising ![]() |

Perhaps we can use this $9 cable to connect a computer directly to the Multec MT05 ECM.

Here are the malfunction codes for the Delphi MT05 ECM, as retrieved from the service manual.
![]() These codes match the OBDII codes shown at the following website. ![]() http://www.troublecodes.net/OBD2/Pcodes/

Here is the connector pin information for the Delphi MT05 ECM.
![]() Neither connector appears to fit the OBD2 scanner connector, which is shown below. ![]() The OBD2 pin connections are described in the following link. http://www.obdii.com/connector.html The Delphi MT05 uses a 6-pin connector for diagnostics, as shown in the photograph below. ![]() Therefore, it seems we will need to make an adapter to connect the appropriate pins of the OBD2 connector to the 6-pin Delphi connector. Likewise, we could also make an adapter to connect the OBD2 connector to one of the 18-pin connectors on the MT05 ECM itself.

The Delphi fuel injectors have a heated tip to aid starting a cold engine with ethanol fuel.

Non-heated auto injector systems and even E85-specific carbs will still run without added heat. The real benefit is easy, consistent starting in any temperature, and no need for an enrichment circuit or conventional choke.

I believe the Delphi, 6-pin female is Delphi part #12052848. Here are just a few links to vendors for that part.

Perhaps the easiest solution is to buy an adapter harness, such as the one in the link below, and wire the appropriate Delphi plug on the other end.
