I'll jump in on this one. I have tuned the stock carb. My experience is no matter how far out you turn the idle mixture screw, engine will still be lean. Couple different routes. But a kit from nzbrakelathes or a set of drills and drill the the pilot jet to .45mm. This is essentially a 45 pilot jet. I don't know for sure but I think nzbrakelathes kit includes a adjustable needle, install the clip on the needle one step rich, or 4th from top of needle. Stock pipe? 110 main jet. Take your time and read before you tear any thing apart. Carb tuning isn't hard, use your common sense.Post any issues I would be glad to help
