It’s here. Changed the oil, added gas, and it started right up.
...but i am getting a clicking noise from inside the engine while coasting. Removed the front sprocket cover. Not a loose sprocket. Need to investigate further, but I’m worried it’s internal and not going to be simple to diagnose or fix. |

I may take some video or time-lapse pics. No one needs another unboxing video, but i will try to put together some first ride stuff, and definitely get track footage if i take it to the kart track.

Upon further investigation, the “tick” only occurs rolling forward, not rolling backward.

And the clutch cable has zero free play adjusted as loose as possible. Hoping it stretches.

Thinking the “tick” has to be a chain issue (likely too tight), because it occurs with the bike off, and in neutral - so nothing internal should be rotating. Going to slacken up the chain and see if that helps.
But i hear it every revolution of the sprocket. That worries me. If the countershaft is bent... |

Bike was stalling after it got warm. Unhooked evaporation canister, and running fine.
But now leaking oil. From ...not the drain plug. |

GPS top speed says 45mph
Granted, i was in a 35 zone. I will take it to the Redbox, which has a 45 zone over the valley, and provides a safe place to push 60. It used to be a 55 zone, and i would do 0-60 acceleration pulls in my 1993 Probe GT in high school. I was a rebel |

Over 60 miles now. GPS top speed with a passenger, and a slight downhill is 49.
But it’s not leaking or stalling. Guess it’s time to order a pipe and a carburetor. |
