Welcome.

For gloves I buy alot of these at home depot. Not as nice as Spud's, but they are cheap.

Those Kobalts look like very nice and protective riding gloves.

And the padded palm would help a lot.

The Kobalt gloves are superb. The fit very well. They are very comfortable, and the handlebars controls are very easy to manipulate. The padding does an excellent job, and does not interfere with either comfort, or dexterity. I highly recommend these gloves.

Didn't get to Lowe's today to check out the Kobalt gloves, but I did get another Amazon package with gel grips, which went on immediately, and a 12v/USB outlet, which also went on immediately. I'm going to head for the hills tomorrow, so it'll be interesting to see how the grips perform. The weather is supposed to be perfect in the Front Range foothills tomorrow (70-ish and mostly sunny), so it should be a fun one!

Picked up a pair today as I was on my way out for a 160 mile ride, and wow what a difference! By far the best 20 bucks I've spent on the motorcycle so far. I added some Tusk handguards, and that seemed to make a little bit of difference in the amount of vibration I felt, but these gloves are the cat's meow, so to speak!
