KTM rear brake guards do not bolt up to the caliper the spacing is different by ~2mm. You have to switch over to the OE Brembo caliper to use it.

KTM lower chain guide guards do fit BUT do not contour to the rear swingarm correctly so the tabs can still bend.

I used a KTM kickstand spring and it works better than the OE spring, it's shorter and keeps tension when in the up position.

Take your calipers apart and grease the slide pins! My slide pins had dabs of grease around the rubber boots which made me think the pin had been greased but that is NOT the case.

Hello anyone who has this bike how tall is it? If you set the suspension settings to lower can you flat foot? It looks tall and I don’t want to tippy toe

The seat height is listed on the previous page. You won't be lowering the seat height without buying a different rear link. If you are under 6' you will not be flat footing this dirt bike.

How about adjusting the suspension sag to soft and then sitting on the bike. I can flat foot the Templar x-250 no issue

Is the drag link weldable cast steel like the Lifan? The Pallidin likely is Aluminum.

Trail report

I decided to take the Paladin on my local single track loop. Rain is coming, so I got this ride in.... I ran through some mud after this shot, but the Paladin performed flawlessly through the mud and slippery stuff. Amazed at the quality. No issues whatsoever.

At least now, under 40 miles...

I'll take some videos tomorrow. I am 6'6 so that is what brought me to this bike, I flat foot it. I'll get someone else that isn't a freak of nature to sit on it for comparison.

It sits an inch higher than the Templar X 250, why is it so hard to understand this? If you are not 6+ you won't be flat footing the Paladin.

The lower rear shock mount has long fork legs and there is plenty of room to drill new mounting holes to lower the bike that way as discussed in the Templar resource guide. I've already responded by message on this.

Maybe someone will find a compatible lowering link instead.

I can't full flatfoot (5'10"), but the bike is so stable off road it isn't an issue for me. I think it is not quite as tall as the Templar X, or the stability makes me feel like it isn't as tall. The suspension/frame feels more taught than Templar. Also, the rear shock on mine came with lots of preload dialed up. I thought it might be too much, but it works well stiffened up. I LIKE it!!!

@mumen- the bad model is 1.2 inches lower than the x model and the guy is 5”7 I am 5”10.

@ thumper- can you take a video of you sitting on the bike and adjust the pre load to soft so we can see the height and how close you are from flat foot?

I don’t understand people have this bike but they are posting NO videos and very little information..: POST VIDEOS for the community
