No. It must have just sold although I found a much less detailed and no pictures post of what has to be the same group of items...

Odd.

http://kpr.craigslist.org/mcy/3271616516.html

His last post had pics of all the bikes.

Seems a person could build a nice CT and sell the rest and maybe break even.

Also odd the new ad does not mention the Chinese 125 motor. Maybe he sold that and that's why the new ad... :?:

I sold it last night for full asking price. Tonight I am supposed to deliver it to Walla Walla (buyer has no motorcycle endorsement yet, enrolled to take MSF class) and pick up the cash. :P

Pray everything goes though as planned, I would like to sell this bike before the riding season is over.

Now if I could sell my boat I will be free of all un-needed mechanical devices. For now...

Nuts.

Deal fell through.

CL flakes.

I still have another guy interested. There is also an antique/classic motorcycle show coming up this weekend maybe I'll enter it there.

That never hurts. Big ol' For Sale sign might do the trick.

I have a guy flying in from Portland this afternoon. He texted me a pic of the cashier's check for the full asking price. I hope it's a done deal this time!

That sounds like someone who will appreciate the bike and your resto efforts.

He's a collector.

He sent me a pic of a nearly matching 1978 GS750 that looks like a museum piece except he rides it daily.

I sent him a odzen close up pics and spoke with him in detail on the phone so he knows everything there is to know about the bike. I think its a good match.

I can't imagine he's coming from Portland to NOT buy it.

The Suzuki is currently on the way to its new home in Portland, Oregon. Bittersweet . I'm glad that it will be used, and not take up space in my garage/hangar, but Jimmy and I did have some great times with it.

That's life.

It's good.

I'm glad that you got what you needed for it. Now there's space for a new bike!

Once I sell the boat...

Still have 4 bikes. I consider that a good minimum. 8)

I receieved a text from the new owner. He is very happy and satisfied. I feel good about that and may have met a new riding buddy in the process.

Postitive follow-up is rare from a private buyer. You've obviously represented the bike well (or perhaps undersold it). I'm glad it went to a good home, rather than to someone who would hack it up to make a bobber.

Amen to all points!

It was worth more than I was asking, but I needed the space and one less thing to take care of more.

It will be used and preserved in its original configuration by a person who knows its value and will enjoy it. I'm happy about that.

Next, and last, on the 'To Sell' list is the boat.

Yeah, boats are easier to buy than to sell, aren't they?
