My suggestion is to search the web and find a forum or forums that are into these types of engines heavily(IE: 50cc to 160cc horizontal engines - honda clones) and read read read.
THEN you will most likely just have to choose which parts you can afford and install as I feel most everything has been done and discussed on these engines. A CDI alone wont do much and on my bike it was worse but that is a totally different engine. As has been stated look for a big bore kit (no replacement for displacement- ) and a matching carb, better air filter and a free flowing performance exhaust. After your hours of reading and reseaching you may find the one or two CDI's that do work well with your engine. After that you may may able to change the sprockets to make better use of the power you have. Speed alone isnt any good if you cant control it so how is the suspension on your quad ? I trust the brakes work well. |

Ya know, considering the low prices of these Chinese quads- it would probably be no more expensive to just trade up to a bigger displacement bike. By the time you make all the mods to yours, you'll end up having as much or more money into it than if you just got a bigger bike..and it still won't be as good as the bigger bike.

Yes. A carb and exhaust will do much more than one of those CDI boxes.
If you notice in the description. "Adds up to 8-10% more horsepower" key words "up to". Allen

Those seem like questions, yet I have no idea what you are asking.

Here is a pic off the carb with a separate fuel petcock installed in a similar atv.
http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...2046_261811646 Here is the fuel petcock. http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...2044_149193815 Parts are found here. http://dratv.stores.yahoo.net/22cagrforcts.html You can use a 26mm carb too. Get new gaskets and fuel line also. This is the carb you have I think. http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c..._2044_15220714
