They're also bringing the Cub back in a 125cc. I didn't figure out if it has an auto clutch or regular manual. Looking at it, I'm thinking auto clutch.

It's a centrifugal clutch :( ... They want it to be more scooter-like (and thus more user-friendly), so that they can get beginners on them.

I would love for either a clone to come to market, or even for Honda to re-release them. I would love a CT110.

I like the new monkey, seem perfect for trail riding. I can't really see it for everyday city riding tho. Hellkitty you should definitely get one, seems exactly what you been looking for.
I wish honda would release a 150 like the old cb125. I would get that in a heartbeat I really don't like the new groms looks to streetfighter, like I'm riding a transformer.

SYM Wolf Classic 150 is as close to a Honda CB 125 as you will get. Made in Taiwan and licenced by Honda.

Will do when I start.... it all in bits now...

first is to get the frame sand blasted & painted then
I can start cleaning bits And putting them back on...
It's a 1982 with Hi/Lo box... 7,800kms on it
The guy I got it off thought it had 78,000kms but he
was reading the last 1/10km digit as part of the mileage...

Already got a new seat cover & alloy rims/spokes off E-bay
but I'm thinking i could put a pit bike front end in it with a disc
brake.... only have to figger out a speedo drive... maybe a
trail tec unit with magnetic wheel pick up...

In the US these bikes can sell for as much as $5000 restored with all the options and the HI/LO box.

Yes, you are.

I see something worth putting the time and money into. These are going up in value as fewer and fewer of them are around. There are original mint condition CT110's selling in the U.S. for as high as $8000 for really nice examples.

Austraila and New Zealand got a modifyed model of the CT110
built by Honda to austsrailin post specs for there postal service..
heavyer suspension , stronger racks & mounts to carry the weight
of the mail...with no Hi/Lo box... were nick named the "postie bike"
out here... there are alot of used ones here.. it's the CT with the hi/lo
box that is getting harder to find...
I had a CT90 years ago.... always wanted another CT..
mine is a CT Honda never built... it's a 82 with points.. 82 was the first
year of the CDI ignition... mines is in fact a 81 that left the factory in jan 82 so
ID plate says it is a 82... when it is the very last of the 81 models..
