ok, went back and re-read your post tulsa. I mistakenly thought you were going to remove the lectric starter to save some weight. You can pull the kickstarter, just take it with you when you go on long rides just in case.

Nuts, another failure

This time on my buddy's bike.

It won't start, has 150KM on the clock. never off road or wet. No spark. Battery charged and connections good. I'm thinking CDI?

sure sounds like it. assuming you checked and zip for spark. Hmmm. all of a sudden a rash of cdi failures.

lol give me kick over electric starter enyday

1 because my electric starters works 1 day and then wont have eny of it the next

2 because my electric starter sounds like its gargling on nails lol

also my frount brake can hold my bike lol yep surprised me aswell

i hear ya on the sliding lol am only 5 and a half foot at most on a very high gy lol :oops:

Sorry about the mispost. Was wondering where that went. I started a new thread.

FWIW, my XR 250 did not have electric start, and I cursed that fact on many steep hillsides.
