It is like if you gotta ask then you can't afford it.

I can afford several.
I prefer to spend my money on things with internal combustion. Much easier for me.

I don't think I ever tried a drive thru on a bike. I did with a modified cummins diesel and had to shut the engine off.

I frequently visit the drive-through windows of restaurants on my motorcycles. If I have my travel trunk attached to the bike, I place the food in the trunk. If I don't have my travel trunk with me, I stuff the bag of food inside my jacket.

Ditto, but usually just at the Walgreens. If I'm going to eat, I get off the bike.

I made it back to Oregon and finally took delivery of the Continental GT, overall I'm happy with it but it does need some refinements. I've ordered a 7" headlight, bar end mirrors and a new exhaust, I've never used a power commander before but the dealer suggests that I order one. His claim is that the bike with have a 20% increase in horsepower with the power commander and custom exhaust (20%=6 horsepower). The rear end really needs to be cleaned up also. I've had no chance to ride it yet, I'll post some photos when I get it on the road in a couple of weeks.

Very beautiful. It will go faster without the billboard on the rear fender.

Egads! That license plate holder is a billboard!
Thanks for posting the update and the photographs, OG. The Royal Enfield looks great!

That's a sweet little bike. When you say clean up the rear end, do you mean to remove everything aft of the cowl? I might even consider shortening the rear hoop to match the cowl and losing the rear fender.
I'd love to see it in person some time.

A reverse megaphone would be the perfect complement.
