Hi, all. Been MIA for a bit due to summer vacation from work. Lots of riding and lots of tinkering.

Update: the bike continues to run great and be very reliable. Did an oil change using Motul, and she runs even smoother now. Simple job that took only a few minutes. That said, the "shipping oil" that came with the bike really appears to be glorified vegetable oil. Odd, odd, smell. Regardless, that stuff is now history and the bike runs smooth.

Also installed a set of LED strip lights for chassis glow so I could be seen easier at night. Although the kit worked, I wasn't pleased with the fitment of the strips (adhesion issues). It has since been removed and I will be ordering an LED pod light kit to remedy that fitment issue.

FYI, an important point that I forgot to mention:

When you get these bikes, be sure to remove the rubber pads that are found attached to the cylinder. They appear to be some sort of protection used during shipping. I imagine these would create smoke and a pronounced smell if not removed.

Had my first issue, although it was my fault. Didn't check the speedo cable mounting nut when I did PDI. Lost MPH on my speedo while riding. Here is my thread on how to fix it:
