The rear brake push alternative is good. But is there a simple way to defeat this "safety" feature?
I was thinking early on in ownership that I would put a switch on the handlebar to close the circuit (that the brake switches close) and wire it as a separate brake light switch connected to the wires to the front brake. Switch it "on" and start the bike. Switch it off, and brake lights go out and back to normal. It is a cheesy solution, but it would work
