Wonder if the tubing can be extended to give you at least a litre?

I am sure you could put a longer straw on. I now have a suzuki tank and I can go about 20kms on reserve.

katoranger, do you have fotos of your suzuki tank install? I'm thinking of upgrading my tank also.

I don't have one of these bikes but the racks look as big as one I had on my DR350 and I use to be able to strap a couple one gallon plastic cans to the rack. I bought the one gallon cans from Walmart for a couple bucks each. Just don't try useing only a bungee cord if your going off roading. I tried that and got gasoline all over one of my saddlebags when the can fell to the side and was leaking out the vent. After that trip I used rachet straps to secure the cans and never had a problem even going over some pretty rough first gear type trails. Just be sure to buy a strap where the rachet side has a real short strap. Otherwise the rachet side will be too long and stretch all the was to the other side of the rack. Hope that makes sense.

I will get some current ones after I made up some brackets. It is still not completely done, but I have the location down.

I believe I have some pics in my gallery.

The tank is from a 91 dr350.

Holds about 2.4 gallons I think which is about 1 more usuable gallon than the stock lifan tank.
