I bet these bikes have less then 2mph difference in top speed.
TU250X is made in Japan with higher wages, uses better hardware and has a better fit and finish. I like the look of the SG250 much better. I'd buy two SG250s before I'd buy one TU250. To me the TU250X ACTUALLY looks like it's a 70's motorcycle not just 70's style. I think the TU250X is an imposter, Suzuki over did the retro look. Whereas the SG250 has 70's café racer style cues but still looks like a 2018 motorcycle. If you want a bike to actually look like it's from the 70's then fix up a 70`s motorcycle. |

The Yamaha SR400 and Triumph Bonneville still sell well. There is a viable market for 70s styled bikes, though it is mostly us older guys.
