Nice job on the kit NZ. The feeler gauge is the perfect size and tool looks to be decent quality. I like that you threw in the valve cover gasket too. I'll use it over the weekend and report back. Thanks.

Keep us posted on that JerryHawk250! I wouldn’t mind having a set in my burrito tube or top box.
Have a great weekend!

That's were mine is going after. It's small enough that it won't take up too much space in the tube.

Please note that I upgraded to DHL being Christmas and wanting it looked at sooner rather then later.
DHL is $25 JUST the shipping so please don't expect that free lol. The CG and CB sets I think will be a little different as tools required slightly differ but what do you think the "set" should be? feeler gauges, valve nut tool, O rings? the CB can get a spanner for the valve covers etc Would this be the right combo set for guys? or should something else be included? PLZ do let me know huh - Cheers fellas PS the feeler gauge set is good and covers the range for most all valve clearances on most if not all bikes, DEF covers the CG or CB Chinese engines 0.05mm 0.06mm 0.07mm 0.08mm 0.09mm 0.10mm and a few more |

I think it would really come down to final price. Many of us already have full tool sets. I have at least 4 sets of feeler gauges in my boxes. If the cost difference between just the tool itself, and the extra goodies wouldn't be a whole lot more expensive, then I see nothing wrong with a kit. However, if I can save myself 10 bucks by just getting the adjustment tool, I will lean toward saving 10 bucks... because I am cheap like that.

I agree with Megadan. Personally, I only would need the valve adjustment tool but its never a bad idea to have extra gaskets and O-rings on hand.

Duly noted! I will see how I do it etc and see what Mr JerryHawk has to say or :(
None of the tools cost much money but more time then anything else and I hope to earn a little more then $2 an hour lol! My guy has a few of these bikes and other export models that didn't leave the country - I am kinda thinking I can do upgrades better, test fit and try out new things but without a bike it gets a bit complex - NOTE these are rare to see in China just the odd one on the internet, I had 1 like it before and sold it as it wasn't up to date legal wise etc. I bought an RX3 for the purpose of testing checking parts upgrades and more learning in order to sell items with confidence. |

The tool worked perfect. Makes it much easier to adjust the valves. Feeler gauge thickness Is dead on too. My valves were tight which would explain the miss at full throttle my last ride out.

Ok well here's what I will do for the posters below my post:
Tool only $12 posted Tool feeler gauges with valve cover gasket $18 posted (CG or CB gaskets) I think I will offer the kit after this as follows: valve tool, feeler gauges gaskets incl sump plug gasket and a double ended spanner for sump plug and CB valve covers. The kit can be changed to suit the GY6 engine or other engines as there are 3 valve adj tools and maybe different valve cover gaskets but price remains the same. I will update a photo when I have all bits to clearly show the kit. PM is fine and Paypal is fine - do remember it is 2-4 weeks postage not DHL! |

I'm in for a good aluminum front rim and some heavier stainless spokes. Mine's still parked in the shop from the bent rim fiasco back in june.

Bulky parts have a high shipping cost tho.
I am trying to see if it is worth offering more and the stuff people already buy but let them buy it from me and possibly combine or critique the way the items are sold as a set or kit. |
