Thanks for the thread weld but unfortunately the 50cc manual they had was obviously a four stroke as they where talking about valve seats , so since I can't find anything it looks like unfortunately I,m going to have to wing it when I get home and see how I go ,with so many of these beaut little bikes around I was fairly confident of finding someone that had been through this process

It's interesting that even though it's a two-stroke, it uses one conventional valve for decompression.
