To make things worse, it was in the same dang spot on the driver's side front fender, and new damages on the driver's side front and rear door.
I bet you get a Christmas card from your insurance man every year???

Today I bought a small gasket that I missed ordering last week. A four dollar gasket that halting a major project. Other than that, I'm ready to go. Now the wait.....

I bought the best birthday present for myself in years: bluetooth headphones for both boys and the family plus extension to my Storytel audiobook subscription. House hasn`t been this silent in ages

Well sometimes you couldn't hear for a while at football practice after you suffered a good head slap, Cheesy. I still have tinnitus from that.

I can answer that! I had the same problem with my camper. When the hubs get hot, the wheel expands and makes the opening in the center larger. When the hole gets bigger, the tension keeping the center caps on is less. Then a little bump and bye-bye center cap. Take a pair of pliers and slightly bend the tabs out if you have the tab-style, or take a hammer and blunted nail and put retaining bumps from the inside of the cap to the outside if you have the press-in kind.

I bought a pneumatic floor scraper and a tile saw. That floor scraper is the best money I've spent in a long time. It made such short work of tearing up FOUR LAYERS OF FLOORING in this damned house. They just kept on slapping a new floor on top of the old floor, but that scraper didn't miss a beat at all. It was really nice just plowing through everything and then doing a bit of cleanup while the air compressor caught up.

I wish the did! Lol. They definitely jab me with a financial dildo every 6 months. Monthly, it's more than my truck payments, before I paid it off. A thank you card and a bottle of lube would be appreciated.

Yesterday, I started on some yard work, as I officially have the worst one in the neighborhood, now. I began raking up the ridiculous amount of pine needles, and started looking at the limbs sitting directly on my garage roof. I decided, at that moment, I needed a pole saw.

So, off to harbor freight I went. I ended up leaving with an atlas pole saw, battery, and charger. It all goes with my other atlas items. I also bought a set of calipers, and a micrometer. Then, I headed off to tractor supply a lowes to look at riding mowers, as my current one is messed up, and I wanted a new one (even though my current one was given to me for free.) Tractor supply only had zero turns on display, I didn't want to pay that much for a mower that's only going to cut me and my mom's yard.

I checked out lowes, and their cheapest mower was no better than the one I already had. I got fed up, and just decided I was going to send my current mower off for repairs. Then, I remembered that I have to cut up a tree that fell in my yard, and one that came down in my girlfriend's yard. So, I bought a kobalt battery operated chain saw. I got that, because I also have a kobalt impact driver, so batteries are interchangeable.

I had a budget on what I wanted to spend that day, and all those items had me well under budget. Then, I got a tank of gas, and that put me over budget by $3. lol.

Ordered an Awning for my Toyhauler/Camper project yesterday. Need some shade this summer to get out the sun when out at the spillway riding the Hawk. Should be here Monday. I know what I'll be doing next week.

Today's bike swap scores.

A couple Sturmey Archer trigger shifters, a handlebar, a nice Fizik saddle, and a late sixties, early seventies, Primus Grasshopper camp stove.

I bought the Grasshopper because it was dirt cheap, $2.

Also for nostalgic reasons. The first camp stove Mrs. C and I bought was a propane Grasshopper. It wasn't a great camp stove. Hell, it was barely a good camp stove, but many one pot meals and pots of coffee were made on it before we could afford a two burner Coleman suitcase. That first Grasshopper disappeared during one of the moves we've made over the years.
