I am waiting for someone in Stovepipe Wells, CA (in the middle of Death Valley) to buy one, and the inevitable reports of record rainfall and flash flooding that will result.

I like how the KPX lured you out with a few days of good weather, so that it could coordinate with that cloud to dump on you yesterday.

Well I adjusted the rear shock a little and I still have to get on with the stand down but I can get off the bike on the right side now and I'm sitting almost flat footed. I didn't turn it to much, not sure if it will ride to soft and really not sure if it will be that much lower if I turn it all the way down. and also we haven't had very much rain (grass was turning brown) now we are. so what's this about a curse?

I mount and dismount my KPX while on the kickstand as well as my old legs don't lift that high anymore. lol once on the bike the rear shock has enough sag to where I can almost flat foot it. I think the low seat height on my Vulcan S has got me spoiled. lol

The Curse is an inside joke. Seems every time someone wants to do something with their KPX, it rains. I am going for a ride in a couple of hours. Forecast is sunny. I am therefore expecting to be drenched.

Maybe I need to buy one. We are in a severe drought here. It's so bad that an entire major river is dried up to nothing. We finally got our first little bit of rain in several weeks two days ago

I started reading this post and it started raining outside my window because I thought about riding later, thanks a lot KPX.

I road 1 day, and taught a buddy who owns his first bike now how to ride. Went from neighborhood cul de sacs to 35 mph side roads in one day. I told him he needs to do another 100 miles in his own neighborhood to get comfortable :P He's stuck with the same rain I am so looks like not much for the next week or so.

Nice photo! The components and build look excellent.

Oh, I can make it rain by washing my car! Must leave it dirty if I want to ride tomorrow
