Are things as strict up there for firearms as they are here? I had to submit my left testicle, after multiple exams, Just to buy my wife a mini 14 for her birthday. You should have seen the look on the guys face when I said it was a gift. "I didn't hear that!"

Irate

Yeah When I moved to Washington state in 2012 I could buy a firearm and just walk out of the store. Now There's a 10 day waiting period for EVERY firearm. An example of the stupidity I had just picked up a firearm, after background check, and found a firearm I liked in the store. Had to wait ten days for the new gun and go through another background check even though i had just been cleared on a background check

Stae just yesterday banned magazines of more than 10 effective in July. Preexisting ones aren't exempt.

I left California because of the dumb stuff going on and here I am with the same stuff. As you can see it only took 10 years for this stuff to happen in Washington.

Beginning to acquire parts for the super moto conversion of the DB17. Figured out that I can get wheels, tires, rear sprocket, and brake caliper and just swap over my original brakes cheaper than the wheelset with everything on it from TBolt and tires.

I just hope the 12" wheels will be good for that bike. If not, I may need to get a shorter shock and fork to make it work. lol.

So after having one of the rental properties cleaned (the cleaning people moved the fridge out from the wall and broke the water line either a) without realizing it or b) without caring they created a massive water leak), I get to buy new insulation, new water lines, new wood paneling, and possibly some new flooring for the kitchen.

We tried being a landlord once. That was enough for me. Our renter turned the house into a "grow house" and one of his hydro beds burst. Lots of repair.

Good luck Em. Hopefully you can get it covered.

Being a landlord isn't as bad as you might think. I have a management company that takes care of the day to day operations. This is the house we moved back into when we came back to Georgia, and it needed a lot of work to get back up to scratch, and it was just put on the market for rental (thus why the cleaners went through). Overall, I spent a couple of bucks for a new water line, whatever the electricity cost to run some fans and dehumidifiers, and three or four hours of my time. I still have to replace the insulation, but that's not a ton of money or time, either. Investment real estate is something that scales exponentially. I have a whole lot of properties, so having one unit vacant doesn't hurt so much. That's why so many people with one house they rent out struggle so much. When you have one property that's rented, you have 100% occupancy. When they leave, you instantly go from 100% occupancy to 0% occupancy. It's tough with only one or two properties, but with the right tenants, it can make a lot of sense and not be too much of a headache. Overall, it's just about taken care of, and the property will get rented out. I certainly appreciate all the support from you guys, though!

Had some new lights for the shop delivered yesterday. They're going to replace the hodge-podge fluorescent lights that are in there now. Quite a bit brighter, and being LED's they won't have any trouble in the colder weather this time of year. They also won't flicker on camera if I do any recording in there.

Picked up this 2001 Xingfu XF150GY for $50. Most of the electrical stuff has been stripped off but it does fire up on starting fluid. The carb and petcock have problems and the clutch seems to be stuck, but hopefully it won't take too much to get it into good enough shape to ride.
