Water leakage problems seem to be contagious. My buddy had a pinhole leak in a section of copper pipe in his house...

Yeah, I read about your water heaters, then walked through the laundry room and wondered loudly, "WTF are my socks wet?"

If I ever find the yahoo that came up with recessed wall faucets, he's gonna be clenching his family jewels for a long time.

Memory stick to keep track of all my passwords. I have around 40 of them, many of which require quarterly replacement

YX140 engine and assorted goods to make my Lifan Jakarta into something with enough power for my wife and I, as 6.5hp is not enough for my (lighter) mother-in-law and I when I took her shopping.

Although I did two-up in France on a Honda NX125, which had 11hp and a 6 speed, top speed was still pretty low, around 75-80km/h flat out. Here's hoping 12-13hp and a 4 speed will be acceptable.

I'll probably end up having the fastest Jakarta in Senegal. Also, here's a pic of what she looks like now:

The plan is to get working on it in March.

Cheesy, we need to stop having these common problems between us! I bought about $400 worth of Jeep parts for the new (to me) Grand Cherokee. New blower motor, blower motor resistor, shocks, rear hatch lift struts, and I noticed a new color in the puddles the Heep (that's the nickname Mrs. E and I have decided on for that bucket of bolts) has been using to mark it's territory. Guess who gets to buy a new radiator!?!? When I finish getting the rest of the stuff from the garage at the old house over to the new house, I have to dig into the back end. There's a rumble coming from the rear axle somewhere that sounds like bearings, but it could be rear-end (pinion bearing or the actual gears), poorly adjusted or worn out brake shoes, wheel bearings, or U-joints. Guess I got what I paid for with my Cheap Jeep!

New ProX T-10MRLT 10U Rack x 10U Top Mixer DJ Combo Flight Case. My 6 year old case still looks like new but was too small and heavy to carry by myself and is about half the size of the new one. I needed something with wheels and more slots for all my equipment to fit in. ProX make some tough cases with life time warranties. I have a bunch of gigs coming up next year and want to be ready to roll.

Well, here's a different problem. I'm about to run out and get a sump pump float switch because it seems I can't do what I want to do on my time off.

Now don't be silly, of course you can't do what you want on your time off. It's called marriage!

I can tell you are a young couple. When you been married as long as I have, my wife will tell me "Go ride your bike" just to get me out the house. I think she does that so she don't have to help me with work around the house.
If i have anything to do around the house, I make sure she gets involved.

I've got 47 years of marriage under my belt and it hasn't changed. Told her all month I was taking this week off to get the Jeep fixed. This week she decides she's going to paint the kids basement and 'needs' my help.
#1. It's the kids basement. Let them paint it.

#2. She knows the only thing I hate more than painting a room is prepping it for painting.

#3. I had plans.
