I needed a new dual-sport rear tire. I've been running a Shinko 244. I used to run IRC GP-1 but they became too expensive. After visiting a few websites I realized that the Shinko rear now cost what I'd paid for both the front and rear in 2018! Ouch! Talk about inflation.

Anyway, I decided to take a quick look on eBay to see if there happened to be something a little cheaper, because "why not?".

I found an IRC GP-1 for about 1/2 price. $43.91 Total (including tax & shipping) The size is 4.10 - 18 which is slightly narrow, but is fine for smaller cc bikes.

I just ordered it yesterday, so it hasn't arrived yet. It might be old stock. I probably should'a asked the mfg. date before ordering.

Just thought I'd pass the info in case any of you are shopping tires.

Ok, so I consider this a purchase today, since the check I wrote (yesterday) was placed in the drop box (today) …….. Car insurance. What a ripoff this shit is. It’s my own fault, due to the amount of cars covered, so I’m not wanting sympathy. But seriously, we are never going to be cared for nearly as much as the celebrity stars/athletes/actors in their commercials lead us on to believe. Guess I’m getting the old cranky bastard syndrome creeping up on me, but I absolutely hate insurance companies. Legal crooks……
Car policy covers…..

Btw….I hate insurance.
Rant over, until May……

Today, I bought a 6 pack of my Dads favorite beer. Gonna enjoy some with my favorite Veteran this evening. Remember to thank a Veteran always, but especially today. If you see one out today in your daily roaming. shake their hand, buy them a cup of coffee, anything... A little bit of kindness really warms their heart, and lets them know we appreciate all they sacrificed for us.

To all who have served, or currently serving, on this forum, Thank you so much for your service, God bless you all.

Hi, my name is Jerry and I'm a motorcycle mod junkie. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I bought a radiator guard, Spot light for the crash bars, rear fender rack, kick stand pad and a small wind deflector for the winter for the Vulcan S. I caught them all on sale for about $130 with all the discount coupons. I just have to wait for the slow boat from China. Last order only took 7 days.

Found out the R1/MT-10 shock is about the same length as the shock on the KPM200. I missed out on one for $59 dollars on ebay. Found this one, with different spring (spring is normally black or silver. I'm assuming this one was changed out) and swing arm for $96 shipped. This should be fun.

ExMxer, you have a number of cars on that list that can be covered by Hagerty or Grundy. They will save you a TON. I hang with a classic car crowd and they all use them for their cars they rarely drive. Even my buddy who has a newer BMW Z3 just put his car on their coverage and saved himself hundreds. Check it out.

Lately around here they are smoking crack on keurigs... most of them are the single serve (tiny resevoir that only holds one cup worth of water) and they want $25-30+ for them...

Today I ordered my Christmas present, a new 2022 Troy Lee Designs helmet. Sadly, I won’t have it in my mitts until mid-late January, but it is paid for! Now if only Santa could find out that I really would like a TLD backpack to go with it……
